"Delphia. True Yachts" - the Olecko-based company is starting the 2014 season with this slogan, which probably translates as "True Ships". This is how the successful shipyard is positioning itself - as a yacht builder that places more value on solidity and safety than on superficial chic - and is the only major European shipyard that is already producing at the limits of its capacity.

In addition to the new marketing campaign, Delphia is also launching two new products at boot. Both are based on familiar hulls, but have new decks, new keel/rudder configurations and new interiors.

The Delphia 29 is based on the previously rather sporty 28 model. The 9.15 metre long and 2.95 metre wide hull now has a fully-fledged comfort extension and headroom throughout the saloon. Visually, the boat is reminiscent of the successful Delphia 31, the latest model in the shipyard line to date. The Delphia 29 has just under 40 square metres of sail area and is expected to displace 3.45 tonnes. Her fixed keel is 1.82 metres deep; an optional swing keel (0.40/1.46 metres) is also available. The total price envisaged is 66,500 euros.

The second premiere is the Delphia 34, which is coming to Düsseldorf. Its hull is derived from the Delphia 33 (length 10.35 metres, width 3.47 metres). However, the stern section, cockpit and appendages in particular have been heavily modified. The window line is now also reminiscent of the Delphia 31. With a draught of 1.82 metres (fixed keel), the new Delphia weighs five tonnes; however, it will also be available as a swing keel yacht (0.75/1.90 metres). The mainsail measures 26 square metres, the jib 23.75 square metres. Price: 84,500 euros.

Both sailing yachts are available in both two- and three-cabin versions, another first for Delphia Yachts. Previously, this option was only available from the Delphia 37.3 upwards.
